One of the most common objects on the modern Internet is the load balanced web server. In this project, you will write the infrastructure as code using Terraform and Packer to manage the infrastructure in the cloud. With this framework as your code tools, you will first create a policy that ensures that all indexed resources are tagged. Next, you’ll create a reusable Terraform module and a Packer template to deploy a custom web server image. Finally, you will use Packer to deploy your VM image and use Terraform to write the infrastructure configuration that uses this image to create a load balanced set of web servers.

Establishing a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipline is critical to enabling high-quality customer service experiences in today’s digital world. In this project, you’ll create a continuous delivery pipeline that deploys a Flask Machine Learning app using Azure Pipelines to Azure App Services. First, you’ll use Github Actions along with a .txt file and application code to perform a lint, test, and install boot cycle on a machine learning application running on Flask in Azure App Services. Then, you’ll integrate Continuous Delivery using Azure Pipelines to automatically deploy tested application changes to production. Finally, you’ll test the predictability of your production-deployed machine learning application and create a demo screencast that demonstrates your continuous delivery proficiency with Azure.

To ensure optimal performance and functionality, cloud applications must undergo continuous testing and monitoring. In this project, you will use industry-leading DevOps tools within Microsoft Azure and Terraform to create disposable test environments within a CI / CD pipeline and run a variety of automated tests with the click of a button. First, you will deploy an application in a test environment that automatically runs functional, integration, and load tests. You will then view the logs and data ingested from these tests to determine where the failures may have occurred. Finally, you will determine the root causes by consulting your application’s custom log files.
